Looking for 2 rc cars electric for me and my kid to play with. No junk, want something i can run to the local Hobby Shop and pick up replacement parts. Would really like 2 stampedes, or rustlers. Let me know, cash in hand for the right deal.

Brushless traxxas slash on 3s lipo.

Can slow it down for your son on reg 7.4 batteries

And they can be put in training mode that cuts power 50%

I have a slash. And bought up a bunch of tamiya ta02's that I put traxxas brushless setups in.

Looking to get him the Stampede with Son Of A Digger body, and I'm going to buy the Rustler Brushless. THe stampede on a 6 cell should be great for him, then the Rustler Brushless will be more than enough for me. I don't need a 70 MPH rocket (although i probly will set it up that way eventually), 45 will be sufficient (for now). the ta02 is a great entry level piece, but i want something i can put aftermarket parts on when he runs shit over and breaks them.
I have a couple but they are NITRO!!!!

Nope, with him being thayt young he, nor I will have the patience. I've had a few gassers befor. I just want something i can put a battery in, throw it down and run.

get 2 helicopters

Hell NO! lol I like them, but for a 6 year old...NAH!

BTW i think i've given up finding used. Most look beat, and i hate people (CL) so.... There's a hobby shop on Fort called FST that has awesome deals on new.

Question, are the Lipo's worth it? Like length or run time, or is it just speed? I'm trying to be cost effective, as i don't have alot of money to go around, but bang ofr buck is it worth doing Lipo's?

Lipo's will have more power and run time. But you have to monitor run time an not use more than 80% of the lipo's mah. Have to be stored at storage voltage. And can be a fire hazard

I has 3 cars for sale. 1 Savage Flux HP and the others are gas if your interested.

I have a losi XX buggy and a XX truck. Both are apart right now, everything is there and I can help ya put them back together if you need. I think the buggy needs a diff and that's it. Pretty sure I have two bodies for each, a few motors, two or three electric speed controls w/breaks. bunch of tires and wheel combos, battery chargers, few older batteries (2400's i think), some servos, a radio and a bunch of spare parts, bolts etc... Stuff's been sitting for ten years, I used to race indoor carpet stuff back in high school as soon as i got my license the stuff never got touched.there's good parts on the all titanium pin's and steering linkage etc...

You can have all of it for $75 bucks if ya want it.

Ok, i think you just changed my mind to stick with NiMH. I want as easy and maintenance free as possible. I can get an 8 cell NiMH and gain speed.

Thanks, but no gas, already have one i don't use.

I already have my mind set on what i'm getting for him, but i will keep you in mind, and if budget allows pick that up from you. I've had a few XX chassis, and liked them very much.
