Hello, my name is Chuck and I'm putting up my 1999 SVT Cobra mustang for sale.

I purchased the car in 2000 with 3,000 miles on it. Never been involved in any accidents and was only driven on nice summer days. It has not seen snow or rain. The car puts down 615 RWHP and 506 RWTQ. Car has 51,765 miles on it as of today. Just changed the oil last weekend with Mobil 1 full synthetic.

Highlights are forged 4.6 DOHC, T-trim with 20 lbs of boost, Viper T56 with solid axle and 4.30 gears. Rear tires were widened to 11.5 x 18 running on 345/30/18 BFG drags. Car is black with 2003 10th Anniversary interior red/black leather seats. This car has been to the track a handful of times, but since 2005 it has only been used for weekend cruising. Car looks and sounds mean, and I'm constantly getting compliments on it. Garage kept and the car has always been pampered so the car inside and out looks like new. All work was done by Alternative Auto. Kids and life priorities have made me decide it's time for someone else to enjoy this car.

It hasn't been to the track since 2004....I believe at that time it was making 525RWHP and it was something like 11.4 @ 123mph. Bad 60ft and I was never that aggressive with it at the track. Best I can recall. The car is a great, strong street car.

At the current HP level I'm running 110 octane. For the amount I drive it in the summer it's costing me like $80 a month to fill it up. It is running on methanol injection as well so with a retune you could go back to pump gas.

I would think he is running 93 octane with the methanol kit

Lidio advised me that the 110 was the safest route for the motor. He said the methanol was a great safety feature with the 20 lbs of boost, but in his opinion going to 93 and methanol he would want to back down the boost. I know others say it will be fine that way, but for how little I've driven it since kids the cost of 110 compared to the cost of retune, pulley, and backing down the power wasn't worth it to me.

Bump to the top....couple interested buyers but car is still available as of today. Room to negotiate so if you are a serious buyer, contact me so we can talk. Thanks.

Very nice car. What kind of work did you do fitting the 345s with the SRA? And is it a SN95 or 99-04 housing? I have the same 345/30/18s with my IRS, but am putting together a solid axle and am curious what all is going to need changed tire fitment wise. Thanks!

This is right from Lid's website from the old white Mach...but I'm curious to know what the OP did as well.

"This new rear tire is about 12.5” wide, and with the right amount of inner wheel well messaging, modifying, and a couple of 1⁄4” spacers at the wheel hubs, we got them to fit in the rear with a very appropriate look without sticking out too far past the outer wheel lip."

Lidio's shop did the same thing to my car to make them fit. Had the lip rolled, messaged the wheel wells, and added the spacers.

Car is sold as of today.
Thanks for the interest though.
