Back in 1999, this was the top of the line Oldsmobile Eighty Eight with all the fancy gadgets and a price tag to match ($29,105). Most of the fancy gadgets still work but some do not. I've been daily driving this car in comfort for almost a year but have recently purchased another vehicle so it's time to pass this to someone else.
1999 Oldsmobile LSS
193k on the odometer (not original meter)
Maroon with grey leather interior
Brand new heater blower motor
Battery replaced this year
Rear tires replaced in the summer
Front tires just replaced, have <1000 miles on them
Crack free windshield
Bulletproof GM 3.8L, should last another 200k miles
Transmission rebuilt at 160k (no paperwork, previous owner)
Kenwood aftermarket stereo head unit
Options:
Auto dusk headlights
Dual climate zones
Dual power leather seats
Auto leveling rear suspension
Issues:
Horn doesn't work
Rear antenna doesn't go up, I just plug in my phone for music, might get fixed before sale
Signals don't turn off automatically
Hood has a few bumps and is misaligned, never bothered me
Trunk has a few bumps
Some scratches here and there
Honestly, it's just a good car to get in and go. The only time this car has left me stranded is when I killed the battery playing music without the engine on. The battery has been replaced and runs like a champ. I wouldn't hesitate to drive this across country and the brand new tires are perfect for the upcoming winter months.
KBB for good condition is $2995, I already checked. Selling for $2000 OBO. Looking to sell quickly.
