1999 Ford Lightning w/ 33,000 miles.
almost every bolt on you can purchase (Except nitrous)
Black exterior.
excellent condition.
Power:
put down 435hp/522trq at the rear tires in 2005. Have added a few more mods since then (full exhaust, ported and polished intake)
Dyno tuned by Sal at PSP in Long Island, New York
Performance:
ran a best of 12.3 at 111mph in 2005
haven't had it to the track in 2006.
Performance mods: (incomplete list)
LFP interchangable 6# lower pulley, Apten ported Supercharger, Factory tech Valve Body, Deep 4x4 trans pan, Electrical Fan, 160 degree thermostat, Bassani Headers, custom mid pipes, MAC Cat back (have a Flowmaster cat back sitting on the shelf) NGK tr-6 plugs, Oil catch can (PCV system), JLP dual ram Cold air intake, 90mm MAF, JLP lift bars (think ladder bars) JLP lowering shackles in rear, FOrd Racing lowering springs in front (not installed), swapped 3.55 gears for the 4.10 gear and upgraded to carbon fiber clutches (still have complete 3.55 rear end), Drive shaft loop, Hoosier slicks (28x16 (need 16" rim to clear the rear brake caliper)
Currently has Goodyear F1's on front with Nitto DR's on the back both factory 18" rims.
a-pillar w/ trans temp and boost gauges
EDIT:
Also has an adjustable PANHARD bar on the rear end. Really tightened up the feel going around corners. Rear end seems much more planted to the pavement
Dyno tuned by PSP with SCT software. Chip can hold 4 programs. currently has a conservative street tune and still put down 435/522 at the rear tires (when it had 3.555 gears). chip has been reclibrated for the 4.10 gears. IT seems a maximum of 16 degrees timing with a rich a/f ratio. (many Gen 2 lightnings are running 20-22 degrees timing)
In the summer expect to see 15# boost, in the cooler spring/fall weather 17#
A 5000# truck that will smoke the tires at 40mph. chirp 2nd gear everytime if you want. chirp 3rd gear if you are on it.
power seats, steering, brakes, windows, mirrors, CD changer, tilt, tow package, tonneau cover, Cervani spoiler on tailgate, cruise, bed liner, abs all around, Cold A/C
Seating material is suede like leather. 40/60 split.
The Intercooler upgrade has been completed ($850.00)
windows are tinted.
5.4L triton V8 w/ Eaton supercharger.
VALVE COVERS HAVE NEVER BEEN OFF.
Why am I selling it?
Not in a hurry to sell it, but this year I ALMOST put on 3000 miles. I simply don't have time to drive it any more.
Plus I want to finish one of the mustangs and drive this this summer.
This is one of 4000 made in 1999. I have the original SVT certificate, i forgot wht number it is somewhere around # 3850.
This truck gets attention. if you want people to look, tap the gas and listen to the supercharger scream, Everyone looks. The exhaust on it now has a very nice tone. does not sound like a cherry bomb, but more of a nice rumbling low tone. Even with 4.10's in the rear, it cruises down the expressway at 80mph no problem or at 120mph no problem
Price?
$17,500 firm.
only quality parts, no junk!!!
