Ran this bike all last summer. I absolutely loved every minute of it, but I am looking at a different ride for this summer, and can't keep both. Bike still gets a lot of looks, some really nice lines on it, especially with the undertail and shaved lights. Bike is torquey, it pulls strong in any gear, and I averaged 38-40 mpg with it.
1998 Triumph T595 Daytona - 955 cc 3 cylinder. right around 30,000 miles. I bought is with just under 28k, and rode it every nice day I could.
Michelin 2ct tires rear has ~2000 miles on it, front has about 400 less.
Only things I have done to it otherwise have been maintenance or cosmetic. Oil changed twice, once before I put it on the road, then again in the fall.
K&N Air filter, cleaned and reoiled late August.
Euro front turn signal lights, and Clear Alternatives integrated taillight. I did a little cleanup to the wiring at the back of the bike, some of the splices are not so great.
Wunoff Racing undertail exhaust.
Single bar mounted mirror.
Right side fairing had a few small cracks around one of the fastener holes, a friend of mine repaired the cracks and repainted and re-cleared the fairing. It looks like the previous owner rubbed the fairing on a door jamb, the white marks in the first pic below came off with some polishing compound. This was all done before I had the fairing cracks taken care of.
Corbin seat, hard tail cover. I also have the stock rear seat but have never used it.
Alpine Stars Triumph Jacket (size 50-something, I'm 6'2"/250 fits me with room, with liner and pads) is available, as is an HGC helmet.
First pic take March 15, 2011. 35 degrees out.
Front tire in pic is before I put the 2ct on.
