My old lady is getting a new car so I get to drive her old shit box.

It might be another week before she gets her new car but I wanted to get a head start on selling this.

I bought this from my mom June 08 (she was the original owner, the car was dealer maintained)

Alpine CDA-9857 head unit (CD/MP3/SAT/IPOD) has the IPOD cable

The bad:
Windshield is cracked (its on the lower edge)
Blower motor doesn't work on settings 1 and 2, but works on 3, 4 and 5
ABS light on (pretty sure its a failed wheel speed sensor - brakes still work great)
Passenger side window is slow (tracks are crispy)
Passenger side rear strut tower is a little crispy (clunks alot)
The Evaporator core has a leak so the A/C only last ~3 weeks. I have a new evaporator and heater core that goes with the sale of the car.

I am starting at $2000, I will start pulling the stereo stuff if I come down on price. Trades will be considered (NO HOME AUDIO and NO LLAMAS)

Thanks,
Dan

I've gotta ask cause I see so many cars for sale that are very high mileage, how long does anyone expect a car with almost 200K to last? I'm not dogging sidewayscoupe this is just a question.

Yes
Will you trade for a dog with two different colored eyes?

PM returned

If I pull it I will most likely keep it. Its hard for me to sell these because I spent alot on them new (I have 3 40's a 60ix and a 200)

What these worth?
ill buy the punch 40 if you pull it and it has the end caps

Post some pictures of the roller
pull the audio and ill trade you a notch roller

No offense taken. I am guessing this should run to +200k without too much trouble. Plus if the engine or trans takes a shit it still has some value in parts (air bags, bumpers, etc)

I love Grand Prixs, I've had 3 (currently have 1) and 2 of my friends currently have those cars.

Plus, I sell parts for a living. Those cars, if maintained are excellent cars. They always come in the yard with a lot of miles and they still run great. I'm talking 120K-200K. We still resell the motors without comebacks.

The ABS is easy to fix. The wheel bearings go bad, I had two go bad on mine. I scanned it, told me which wheel, replaced it in about an hour, and it was fixed. No problem at all.

They are excellent cars. Good Luck with the sale.

as stated scott if the cars well maintained it'll last well over 200k. Id swoop this up no regrets if i could sell my 95 neon for a decent price. goodluck with the sale.

All PM's returned

Yup, parts are very easy to get.

plus those motors are a dime a dozen.

Thanks for the input - these drivetrains seem very stout. I am pretty sure the original trans was a bad piece from day one (since my mom drives like an old lady - actually she is an old lady!)

And both front wheel bearings were replace at 140k and it fixed the ABS for a while. I am pretty sure one of the replacements failed, I just deal with the ABS light being on......
