1998 Grand Marquis Fuel pump problem

Went to start my 1998 Grand Marquis and no fuel pump sound....replaced the fuel pump and still nothing...Anyone have ANY idea what could be wrong?....this is kinda urgent any help would be appreciated

Fuse for relay, or did someone slam a door maybe trip the inertia switch?

i've jumped the Inertia switch and also swapped out Relays...still nothing

You check the fuel pump harness at the pump to see if there is power?

yes....No power

Pull the relay and check for power at pin 30 of the relay. If you're not sure which pin that is look at the bottom of the relay, it should be on there.

Have power at #30 on the relay......and have 6volts at the pink wire at the fuel pump connector

hard to say. gonna have to pull a diagram and chase it down. At least you have a place to start.

FIgured it out last weekend.....Had 13v at the FP Fuse and only 8 at the Relay....Ran a new wire from the fuse to the power side of the Relay...works perfect
