1998 GM Rear Differential rebuild.

Has anyone ever done this. The spider gears in mine are worn out. Eaton offers replacement parts but there are 2 rods that have some springs and arms attached to them. I need to remove these to walk the gears out. Has anybody done this before. Any help will be greatly appreciated.

take a picture, my memory is a bit fuzzy on this one. I know I have done it before its just been a while.

Sounds like a Eaton gov lock...Not serviceable.

it's probly one of those G80??? units....i took one apart before but forget how now...lol GL
