I just bought a newer Corvette, so this project has to go...

For sale is my 1998 Camaro SS. This vehicle has been my baby for the last 5 years. Car has all the functioning equipment, but will also run good numbers at the dragstrip.

Standard features:
New leather interior in 2010. Power drivers seat
Pioneer CD player 45x4 watts with AUX input
Functional cold A/C
T-Tops (do not leak. Also have factory sun shades
200 watt Monsoon sounds (6 speakers)
Keyless entry
ABS brakes
SLP SS floor mats and car cover!
152,000 miles (all new parts though)
EVERYTHING WORKS!

Performance:
Engine - I sold the original LS1 engine and replaced it with a 6.0 all aluminum L76 engine out of a 2008 G8 GT. This is a gen IV LS engine vs the factory LS1 being a gen III engine. This is much better than the iron 6.0 LQ4 and LQ9 engines that some people swap into these cars

The cylinder heads are L92 heads off of a 2007 Escalade. These are the Larger port heads flowing 320 CFM. Texas speed Xtreme .675 lift double valve springs

Texas Speed Camshaft: 231/236 .644, .610
Chromolly pushrods
Engine has 1' 3/4" Stainless Long tube headers (emissions capable)
MSD plug wires
Ignition coils from a 2009 GM truck
SLP 25% underdrive pulley
36 LB injectors
2.5 True dual exhaust with X pipe. Pro Flow mufflers
Z06 MAF sensor
SSRA intake and Wisper lid
90mm Holley Throttle body
Racetronix 255gph fuel pump
Polyurethane engine mounts
PCM tuned by Dr. Phil (best LS tuner around)

Transmission: 4L60e overdrive
3800 PTC torque converter (new for 2013) better converter than the rest!
Super Billet 2nd and Overdrive Servos
Wide Kevlar Band
.500 Boost valve
Beast sunshell
Polyurethane trans mount
B&M trans cooler
Chrome fined deeper trans pan

Drivetrain:
PST aluminum 3.5in Driveshaft (supposed to be good to 1000hp) 2012
Moser ford 9' rear end. 3.70 gears, True Trac posi and ABS function. $2300 setup installed summer 2013 (stock rear axle is weak and WILL break at this power level!!!!)

Brakes and Suspension:
Cross drilled brake rotors all around
Newer front shocks and suspension
Welded in subframe connectors
Adjustable and Tubular Rear lower controls arms
Adjustable and Tubular Panhard rod
Comp engineering rear drag shocks
1LE rear sway bar

2 sets of wheels and tires:
17x9.5 z06 wheels with BRAND NEW 315/35/17 Nitto Drag radials on rear
16X8 Chrome factory 5 stars with regular set of rear tires and also Mickey Thompson ET Street slicks (only ran at track once)

Car starts up and runs great with no lights or noises. Car put down 430 RWHP on dyno. Car ran 1/4 mile at 11.7 seconds.

**REASON FOR LOW PRICE IS TRANSMISSION ISSUE. WILL GO INTO GEAR, but something is holding. Car will need a tow**

I am an engineer for GM. I am ASE certified. I have a new fast car now, so no time for this one!

Also have many many stock parts for vehicle. Stock rear axle, Stock LS1 heads, intake, throttle body, exhaust

$6000 FIRM takes everything! Not a dollar less, NO TRADES

I will sell car for $5000 minus the Z06 wheel/tire set up and also minus the Mickey Thompson ET streets slicks

Did the trans just stop working instantly and need a tow home? Or was it acting up for a little bit and then froze up?

Instantly. I took the rear tires off to work to get the new Nittos mounted... I got home, put them on and tired to back out of garage, reverse is slipping real bad like there is a brake holding it.
