1997 Chevy 1-Ton Crew Cab Dually on AIR RIDE ("Bagged") F/S/Trade?
I have a 1997 Chevy Silverado Full Crew Cab (4 door) Dually, 2wd, with a 7.4L (454) and automatic. 16" Alcoas. It is a southern truck I picked up a few months back in southwestern Kentucky. it has just under 140,000 miles on it. Power windows, locks, cruise, A/C, single Cd,etc. I am paralyzed and in a wheelchair, so in order to drive it, I had a full Air-ride setup put on it. It consists of 4 2800 Lb air bags, 1/2" D.O.T. semi-truck air line, 2-5 gallon "sausage" Air tanks mounted under the bed, 3/8" dump valves, Engine-driven compressor. 2 gauges in A-pillar pods, switch box. The frame is C-notched, but I did NOT cut into the bed. The top of the diff just BARELY kissed the bottom of the bed floor. What is the point of having a 22 foot long truck if you cannot use it to haul your stuff? 3" Flowmaster exhaust, dumped under the bed. It has a "hidden hitch" behind the Rollpan. It runs great, but If I keep it I'm gonna throw a tuneup on it because I don't know when one was last done. The ONLY spots of rust are 1. Where the previous owner backed into something in the driveway and smashed the bottom of the rollpan, near the license plate, and 2. a small spot of surface rust just starting on the passenger front fender, where the lip was cut, instead of rolling it the right way. (previous owner) Other than these two minor areas, it is a RUST FREE SOUTHERN TRUCK. Cab corners are mint, doors are clean, etc. The only thing wrong with this truck is that it had an amateur paint job at some point, and all the clear is peeling off. The hood is the worst, with most other flat surfaces (parallel to the ground) having some clear coat peeling off. Steel cowl hood. Shaved tailgate handle. Painted ventshades.

cheapo Front center caps/Lugnuts are rusty, but Wheels are aluminum Alcoas and are nice.
$9K OBO, or POSSIBLE trade for Muscle Cars, 64-93 Mustangs, (MUST HAVE AUTOMATIC!, I am paralyzed, my legs dont work!) May consider project cars+ Cash, or what do you have? PLEASE PLEASE PLEASE NO 4-DOORS, BOATS, BIKES, JET SKI'S, QUADS, DIRT BIKES. ETC, As I have no use for them. SORRY!
I am not desperate and don't need to sell it. Feel free to make offer, but be realistic..... It's a good truck, and could be PERFECT with a fresh paintjob and a new rollpan.... Great tow rig!
