1996 Ford Ranger Extended Cab 4x4 5spd
The truck is bright red with only 108k miles. It has a grey interior which is in excellent condition. I’m only the 2nd owner and the truck has never been smoked in - I even have the original window sticker. It is loaded with A/C (that works great), power lumbar/bolsters, bedliner, rear slider window, hitch and tonneau cover (neither are currently on). Everything works and leaks nothing!
There is a small amount of rust at the bottom of the tailgate and passenger door. There is also some minor damage behind the drivers side rear wheel. On the last tank of fuel the truck got 19.1 mpg – that was city driving. Usually averages in the 18.x mpg range in the city.
New parts within the last six months (I’m sure I forgot some too):
- Aluminum Wheels 15x8
- BFG 31x10.5 AT’s
- Sylvania Ultra head light bulbs
- New leather factory steering wheel
- New foglights
- New headlight bulbs
- New battery
- Four Skyjacker shocks
- Front Brakes – turned rotors w/ new pads
- Poly bushings in front axle
- Poly bushings in radius arms
- Rebuilt front hubs w/ new seals etc.
- Replaced all of the u-joints in front 4wd system
- Replace upper and lower ball joints on both sides
- Professional alignment
- New fluids in the drivetrain (trans/transfer case/front-diff) – All Amsoil
- Flushed the coolant system
- Replaced the power steering fluid
- Replaced the T-Stat
- Replaced the upper and lower radiator hoses
- Replaced the EGR valve
- Full tune up – New plugs/coil pack/ wires/ oil/ filter/ fuel filter
- Front spring spacers – 2”
New parts replaced by original owner – not sure about when:
- Rear springs
- Clutch
