Im seeing if there might be any interest here for this car. I bought it a few months ago and its still at my buddies house in PA till the end of this month when Im bringing it back. I could use some extra money so if I can get it sold its going bye bye.

The car runs 100% except for it needing to be leaned out slightly at WOT. From the original owner
It had this funky issue of a slight miss under boost, which is probably because I have it tuned to 10.5:1 under boost. I did that to keep it ultra safe. It still pulls like a mother and will tear up the tires in 1st and 2nd and part of 3rd.

I dont see why it still couldnt pull close to 30 on the highway. Im hoping with a light right foot it will be pretty high on the way home.

Well let us know. I am curious and in need of something with better mileage. Just want something that can get out of it's own way. My only concern is the age of the car. We've been replacing lots of parts on my fiance's 96 Saturn SC1 lately....

I'm just saying I've had family with these cars and the motors didnt last for shit. I didn't know they were capable of boost. And I didn't screw up Shit, he will have no problem getting his money for that car.

I know the 1.6L had block issues, the 2.5L twin cam engine didn't have any problems, as far as I know.
Has to be fun with the 5spd though :)

I had one of these (twin cam) that was beat to shit when I got it and drove it well over 220k ( odometer stopped ) before the engine went

Thanks..the only engine offered in the s cars was the 1.9 llo.
Wow .. where did I come up with that :\, Probably because I own a Crx, and a ProbeGt... :( Sorry. Always thought the twin cam engine was different, o wells.
Regardless, the twin cam engine had more "meat" between each cylinder.

Cool car for the money. I call bs on the guy saying these blow up too. When I was piss poor in college I bought one, as did most of my friends. We all went near 200k beating the shit out of them with no issues. However, they burned oil from the factory, so unless you checked and topped off (which only teenage girls don't) I've never seen on fail. Fun little tupperware containers on wheels.

Sorry, the llo was the dohc engines only. But either way they were all 1.9L

2500 pound car plus close to 200whp = fun!!

And speaking of Tupperware..I got these stickers to throw in with the sale.
