Though someone on here might be looking for a nice reliable daily driver or family car.
1995 Mercury Grand Marquis, 4.6l V8 Engine, Automatic Transmission
93k miles
4.6l - Very healthy, no ticks or any abnormal noises. Has had full synthetic oil in it since the last owner bought it.
Automatic Transmission with Overdrive - Shifts very smooth, fluid is clean and full.
Good:
Runs fantastic.
Extremely clean, has been undercoated and re-glossed yearly for a few years now.
No rust at all.
Power windows, locks and mirrors with remote key fob.
Air Conditioning
Clean interior, no rips or tears.
Have receipts going back several years for all repairs done.
Tinted windows, limo in the back, 35% in the front. Looks clean.
Flowmaster exhaust without cat converters, sounds very nice.
Tires are in great shape.
Rides like a dream.
15-18 MPG city
24-27 MPG highway
Bad:
Slight back bumper damage from somebody hitting me in a parking lot.
VERY small chip in windshield. Been there for 3 months and hasn't moved a bit.
Check engine light comes on every few weeks and goes off in a day of two. This is cause by the lack on cat. converters on the exhaust. This does not affect the way the car runs at all.
New Parts:
PCV valve (2 months ago)
Fuel Filter (2 months ago)
All 8 Spark plugs (2 months ago)
Windshield wiper motor (1 month ago)
Sway bar links (3 months ago)
Monroe shocks (5/4/11)
New Alternator (10/02/11)
Water Pump (January 2011)
Tie rods (2/29/08)
Rear main seal (9/4/09)
New soft top (2006-$1400)
I am the third owner of this car, the previous owner bought it from his grandfather who bought it new. I do have the original window sticker which laminated. The guy before me was very into keeping this car clean and in very good condition. He did a nice job, and by the list of newer parts above you can tell that as soon as one little thing started to go bad he replaced it. I too have kept this car really clean, and i've kept up on all oil changed. This car is my daily driver of around 35 miles per day. The car would have no problems driving to california right now, and you'd be very comfortable doing it. I just recently took a 500 mile trip to my parents house at Christmas and it did great, and got great mileage as well for a big car. I do hate to see it go as it really it a beautiful car. But, I want to get back into a truck or a Jeep.
Asking $3000. Please no low-balls. Call me at 734.718. four one three six if interested. My name is Ben.
