My brake fluid distributor is leaking ( the square-ish puzzle shaped piece under the master cylinder ) . The port that isn't connected to a brake line is leaking fluid every-time i press the brakes .. I have no brakes because i cant hold any fluid ?? Do i need to replace the piece or is it something else ? .

That would be your proportioning valve. The front port that you are referring to unscrews and there is an O-ring, spring and a little plunger in there. Your Oring has more then likely blown causing your leak. Not sure if a replacement oring is available readily but you could take the plug out and try to find an oring that fits. Be careful when removing it, the spring may fly out. A 3/4" wrench will remove the plug.

Thanks alot , but what if I just change the proportioning valve ? does it have to be brand new ? I can find a fairly used one and just swap it out ..
