Auto? What rear axle? Rust spots (specifically concerned about the front roof corners, rockers and hatch)? any leaks (rear main seal)? and most importantly... how much cash?

From what a fellow body shop manager told me about it the only rust on it is the rockers. Floor boards are solid, roof is solid, hatch is solid. Previous owner didn't unlock it and broke the handle on the hatch. From what I understand there are no leaks on it. He has had offers of $3000 for it from locals but he is holding out for that "something fun" or someone who wants to offer a bit more. He said the thing drives like a dream, 4WD engages great. It is an automatic.

I appreciate the interest and it's not like he's way out of line... but here's an identical truck, 30k less miles, no rust... for $3900 from a dealer. Could probably get this one for $3500.

Once you start really getting close to 200k on it, it's pretty tough to pull $3k unless it's mint.

Not trying to be a dick, but I'd put that Jeep worth about $2500-$2600. I just sold my 97 with 180k miles on it and rusty rockers, but otherwise good running condition for $1700. So, I'd need about $1400ish on top.

Also, looks like the passenger front wheel is bent?
