1993 Mustang GT - $4000 - SOLD
SOLD!
Yeah, I'm missing having a Jeep already... so, I'll sell the Mustang or trade it for a Jeep Cherokee XJ (1997+, around 100k miles, rust free, not green).
1993 Ford Mustang GT
$4,000 or best offer
138,000 miles and rising slowly (I'm driving it on nice days)
5-speed (T-5 swap)
I bought this through MM in a roundabout way (friend of an MM'er). It was listed for sale here a few years ago, so here's the info from that ad:
Allow me to add a bit more info:
Basically, the car is a 10 footer. It looks great from 10' away, it looks great going down the road. Up close, there are a few little things.
-The hood isn't perfectly flush/aligned, but for an aftermarket fiberglass Mustang hood, that's how they go.
-The A/C doesn't work
-There is an aftermarket CD player, but I don't think the antenna is hooked up. It barely picks up radio stations. Haven't even tried a CD in it yet.
-There are a few scratches here and there
-The foglights are missing
-Transmission whines a bit.
Also, the previous owner set the car up with switches for the fuel pump and electric fan. It is also push button start, on the dash, under the CD player. I don't know if he thought he was building a race car or what. I just ordered a new ashtray door for the center console, and as soon as that arrives, I was going to relocate the switches under that, since I don't smoke.
I'm not trying to scare anybody away, just being up front about stuff. The car IS in pretty nice shape. It's about 99% rust free... a few TINY TINY bubbles on the hatch near the keyhole, still under the paint is all that I've seen. The shock towers are clean, the torque boxes are straight. It's got some nice stuff done like the 5 lug conversion and the chome Cobra wheels in great shape. Rear tires are brand new with under 500 miles on them. Fronts are pretty good.
I bought it for $3800 and put about $500 into it... (rear tires, ashtray lid, new shifter console kit). So I'm at $4300. I'm gonna lose a bit of money on this one, but don't bother with lowballs... I'm not giving it away.

Body has 134K on it but has always been garage kept. Some mods it has include:
BBK Shorty headers
O/R H-Pipe
Flowmaster catback with 40 Series mufflers and tailpipes
large K&N airfilter for the Stormin Normin Ram Air Hood
BBK subframe connectors
MSD Coil/Cap and Rotor
Underdrive pulleys
smog pump delete bracket
Electric fan
Steeda lowering springs
adjustable clutch cable
aluminum quadrant and firewall adjuster
The motor has been rebuilt and has around 10K on it along with the clutch and trans. It is a T5 trans with a Hurst short throw shifter. Still has the stock 3.08 gear w/ Trac-Lok. You can do 90 on the freeway and only be at 2300RPM. Car also has a 5 lug conversion with 03 04 Chrome cobra rims. Has lots of new parts and all fluids are fresh. I only run Royal Purple in the motor with K&N oil filters. It has a custom paint job on it also. You cant see it in the pictures but there is multi color flake in the clear coat which looks amazing in the sunlight. Original all black interior.
