1993 Cobra Engine Questions

The 1993 Cobra cam is unique and as I said before I would leave your 1993 Cobra motor combo alone. Specs are .480 lift with 1.72 rockers, 118 1/4 lobe seperation and 270/270 adv. duration. For what you want to do I would not spend any time or money on the motor and spend the money on headers, x-pipe and nice sounding mufflers.

I think I may do just that. Just watched some videos of b and e cams. B cam is way too lopey for my taste, sounds like popcorn. I don't want the entire car shaking, not to mention it has to pass emissions so I don't want to run into problems. E cam has a nice lope to it, I can deal with that.

IF you think those are lumpy....watch that clip I posted...lol
 
man...i loved my wolverine 1087 cam. Smoked72 is the one that got me to use it on my car...wicked sounding...with good performance.

Funny thing is I still got the 302 motor that came out of the teal car sitting on a stand with the 1087 cam. Even after all that spray and abuse that motor still had 60psi oil pressure and ran great. I was spraying a 200 shot hoping to blow it up too. I may drop it in something one day for shits and giggles. Big thanks for Wesley and Walsh tuning on all those combos.
 
Very nice! What was your setup?

92 coupe, 3048 race weight, stock short block, TFS TW heads out of box, 1.7 rockers, gt40 upper and ported lower, pro m 77 maf, 24lb injectors, 65mm throttle body, 3.73 gear with auburn pro, pro shifted t5, 26*10 slicks.

No arb, no adjustable struts or shocks.

Shifted at 5300 and left on the limiter.

With a 4.10 and good weather I think 11.99 may have been doable.
