i remember getting those magazines in jr.high and high school. i knew all those guys and went to a few events at mid michigan back in the day

I think he was more into Comp or that sort of class?
Those were "the good ole' days" when a simple back halfed car could be competitive.
Granted they were running Gianino 565's, but compared to today's cars,
they were low dollar.

Are you Jim's son? The dark floor section in the picture I posted, between the rear panel and the floors. He removed it from his car when he removed his floors to build the car :D
 
Joe Yatoma I haven't heard that name in a long time! I still have the HRM with his nitrous explosion on the cover. (he used to work at the Plymouth Goodyear store on Main) I delivered parts to him all the time when I was in high school He was such a cool guy I always loved shooting the shit with him when I was making a delivery.
