1990 Mustang...

Time to fire this project back up and get it moving...


Was bored one day so I quickly went over the engine bay and sanded down a few areas to fill in...



Nothing too crazy... Just figured I do something and kill some time...



So then I tried putting the Danny Bee belt drive cover on... For some reason my 4 lower mounting holes were 3/8's and the rest were 7/16's... Why? Don't have a clue...

So we had to drill out the 4 lower holes... (Thanks Pb)... Time to fire up the bridge port...



Then attached the cover to the block and layed it in the engine bay... And put the limiters back on...



Tomorrow night is to drill the intake out and weld in the injector bungs... Stay tuned... :help:
 
More progress...

First and foremost thanks to P.B. for everything he's helping me with...


Last night took the intake and hooked it up to the bridgeport...



Now finding the center of each intake runner...


While finding the center of each intake runner measurements where also taken so it would be easier to find the dead center for drilling out the injector bungs...


Drilling out the intake...



All done...


Now to take a final bore head to make it the exact size we need...


Injector bungs fit like a glove...


Injector bungs will be machined for the proper angle
 
Looks awesome Reiko. Let me know when you guys are working on it and I'll come help out. We gotta get Pat's car done too! I want to stand on the starting line and watch you guys make passes for once! It's a lot cheaper that way!!! lol

Did you see PB's intake? LOL that thing is SICK!

Yeah... It's a work of art... That's why I don't have a doubt in my mind with his capabilities... :icon_bigg

Has enough injectors for our motors and his if he ran gas... :icon_lol:
 
Worked on the car and intake last night...

First up is the intake...
Matching up the injector bung to the intake manifold...


After that is all done... Time to weld them up...



Finished product...




Put the heads on the block last night and took the front bumper off...


I think this is where the dry sump tank is going to go... Not 100% sure yet
