1990 Mustang...

Got the car back late last night... Don't have any more pictures of it but I will post more when I take some tonight...

Here's the fiberglass dash mounted...

Parachute air cylinder


The parachute is a custom peice that's real thick so the cylinder tab was just welded right to it... Also a handle stop was welded in so the cylinder doesn't send the handle through the windshield... Or in the event of a failure if I were to slam on the handle I don't send my hand through the windshield either...



The fiberglass dash mounted and held in by dzus fasteners...


The top side of the dash where the pillar bars come down had plates welded around the bar so if I wanted to fill in the dash area and paint it I have some backing...


Here's better pictures of the dual parachute mount completely finished...


And the wheelie bars completed and mounted to the car...



Next on the list is to get the cowl cut out and make it a removeable one peice or I might just have it smoothed over... Also to get the engine bay ready to go under the knife...
