1990 Mustang...

I am still trying to figure out why your original coats turned out poorly. I used Chassis Saver on mine and it looks powdercoated. I was very happy with it. A close friend used it on his too and had equally good results.

I applied some area's too thick... Some area's not enough(hard to reach spaces)... And also had some brush strokes in areas...

I also found out last weekend... Chassis Saver has a 1yr shelf life(mine was over a year old) and a 3-6month shelf life after being opened... I talked to the head engineer last weekend while I was in Grand Rapids... That could be another reason...

Maybe that could be why.

Even though it CS levels itself out very well, I still applied mine with foam brushes to eliminate brush strokes.

I do know that from a durability standpoint you can not beat it, paint doesn't come close. Mine has been done for 2 years now and still does not have a single scratch mark anywhere, including the door bars.

Don't even know the first thing about spray guns or painting with them...

Do you want the cage sprayed? I know we've had our differences in the past but I can lay that shit down for ya. Just get everything covered you don't want sprayed.

I hate to see ya shit it up just because you don't know how to spray

 I'd let him spray it. I hear he's okay with a spray gun :gr_jest:

Parts are twice as much as a chevy part. But I have had my engine up to 7500-8000RPM and no damage. (little valve float) :D
