i bought this back in october to make into a nice little dd/track car, but with recent events just don't have the time to mess with it.

here's everything i know about it.

1990 325is with @ 50,000 miles. the "is" model has the big engine and upgraded suspension.

salvage title, but was re-certified for road use.

5 speed
2.5L six-cylinder
2-door
power windows/locks/sunroof.
leather interior
bbs basketweave wheels

good stuff:

starts and runs excellent. lots of power, pulls nicely.
interior is in amazing condition. it's really clean.
undercarriage, suspension, brakes all in great shape.
trans shifts beautifully, clutch feels great.

bad stuff:

needs a wheel bearing ($30 part)
passenger window inop
speedo acts funky, replacements on ebay for <$60
needs tires as they are iffy from sitting.

body is in pretty good shape for the age of the car. there is some light rust along the leading edge of the hood and the trailing edge of the trunk. there is also a dent on the drivers side c-pillar.

thats about it. i bought it in october, drove it around a few times and it's been locked away in the garage since.

this car could probably get $3500+, but i just want it gone.

$2900.00 obo or trade for who knows?

So does it have a salvage title or rebuilt title?

You say the speedo is acting funny... is/has the odometer working accurately?

looks like a salvage title to me, but it's been signed off on for return to road use.

the speedo/odo worked fine when i first got it, and started getting wonky afterwards.

You can't even see the c-pillar dent in the pics. This car is ripe for an LS1/T56 swap...

Bump for a neat ride.
