1987 Mustang fuel problems??

i put a different motor in my car the motor is a 1986 non HO 5.0 but i switched the firing order so it would run right. the car starts right up revs fine sounds great until you start to drive it. it sounds like its missing and has no power. i'm out of ideas here. i pulled the spark plugs out and they are bright white looks to be running very lean. Could it be running out of fuel or just not be getting enough?
 
i had to replace some of the injectors when i switched motors the caps were broke on like 4 of them. i think thats what was wrong with the other motor it was fowlin plugs pretty bad on one cylinder
 
got it figured out it was the injector wiring harness for some reason. i had another harness laying around through it on there and it runs great now
