Any more info. You posted a very basic ad. How many miles. What type of mods? Original motor and trans?

The trans went out after 200 miles after the guy said it was rebuilt, which it might have, but they obviously screwed it up. It says 15k on the odometer. I don't know much about it, it was fast and rode nice. It has 3 chips (stock, 93 octane @ 18#, and 110 @ 20#), rebuilt turbo, scanmaster, 3 inch downpipe and hardened wheel studs, so it was raced at one time.

how much floorpan work does it need? the car looks to be pretty clean how is the body? dents rust?

If it doesn't sell, I am going to replace the pans. Water sat in them from the t-top seals being bad, so they are pretty weak but have a patch over them. There are 3 small rust areas and one that would need a patch. The rust bubbles are on the trunk lid, over the drivers side fender and behind the pass. t-top. The worst spot is on the passenger door where someone fixed a dent with bondo and it rusted behind it. I pulled the bondo back to see how bad it was. Other than the door, I can not find bondo or any dents on the car. The header pannel was replaced at one time and looks pretty crappy. Looks like they painted it black over a bunch of rock chips. The main parts of the body is straight and solid, the tunk floor is solid, even where the spare tire is. If I can't get $6500 out of it, I will keep it and fix what's wrong with it. It was fast, the posi worked good, and it drove nice. If I end up keeping it, it will be a nice car when spring hits.

Here's some pics of the rust.

This is why I am selling it cheap. It does need work, and if it doesn't sell in a month or so, I will keep it and put a little time and money into it. I got it as a project and I am offering it to someone who maybe can't afford the 15k for one that is done or wants to build it their own way. If someone drops another 2 grand into it, it will be a bad ass ride by spring.

This car was someones pride and joy at one time. It has had some time and money put into it with go-fast parts and custom tuning. I couldn't even find out it's full potential because the trans went out on it after 3 days / 200 miles of driving it. I know I will kick myself for getting rid of this car because I have always wanted an 87 T-top turbo car. I loved driving it, I put more miles on it in 3 days than I did with my old car in a month.

If I still have it when my taxes come back I know of 2 places where I can get the parts it needs. I will drop my own 2g's into it and have a bad ass turbo car. But I just have some other options on other cars that I can get if I sell this one. So it isn't a must sell deal, just an offer for someone looking for a cool project.

And as for the Dexcool, I would have used the green stuff, but it is what was in it. I don't have a plastic intake for it to eat and if my heat goes off in my garage, it won't pop the freeze plugs, so I am happy with it right now.
