1987 Ford Taurus, 64K original miles. Car was purchased new by my grandmother in late 1986. Fully loaded with power everything, leather seats, premium 1987 stereo :naughty: power windows, locks, ac, etc. My grandmother drove the car for several years, and then it was parked for a few years, and started/ran periodically. My sister was given the car by my grandmother a few years ago, and at that time the car received new calipers, brakes, a full tune up, and some other odds and ends. Since then it has had a brand new starter and alternator installed, along with new trans lines. The car was in a minor front end collision a few years back, with no structural damage. The hood, grill, and front bumper were replaced. Overall the car is in pretty good shape but it is beginning to rust in the typical mid 80's taurus spots. The car has been very reliable, and would make a good commuter for someone. The car belongs to my sister, but I can answer pretty much any question you have about it. PM me if interested, or reply here. Thanks!

I will post some pictures in the next day or two, the car is white and has a dark gray leather interior.

I WAS MISINFORMED, THE CAR ACTUALLY HAS 64K MILES ON IT

That is a hell of a car for the money!

WOW, My buddy had one with 155,000 on it when it quit on him

Why would she sell it?
Just drive it til it dies..

what motor?

I'm pretty sure it's the 3.0

She just graduated from college, is getting married next weekend, and is moving to Virginia for a new job and just bought a brand new 07 Impala. The Taurus is a decent car but she wanted something newer, with more power, a better ride and a nicer interior.

Sorry man, I had a bunch of family in town this weekend and I totally forgot. I forgot to mention its a two tone, white on the top with grey on the bottom, and has the premium snowflake allow wheels that were available that year.

I put a new battery in this the other day, it wasn't cranking so I took it to get it tested, battery was f'ed. It has a new starter, new alternator, and a new solenoid so it won't give anyone any issues. I've given a phone # out to plenty of people, no one has called or came to look at it. It's going in autotrader next week, I wanted to give you guys a crack at it first...

So my sisters retarded, I went over there today to take some pictures and I discovered that the car actually has 64K on it. Still, thats crazy low miles and $750 is still a great price. Here's some pics:

Also, the sensor that turns the radiator fans on is broken, and my sisters boyfriend, in his infinite car wisdom, put a switch inside the car to turn the fans on and off manually rather than replace the thing. It's like a $10 sensor and I would expect anyone who posts on this board should be able to fix it in about half an hour.
