1987 Buick Grand National - Intensive Paint Correction by AutoLavish

Wow lots of replies! Thank you all! We are glad you enjoyed it, and as I mentioned in the "ongoing" thread, I knew you guys would really like this one :)

Wow !!! Great Work !!!! Whats the average cost to have this done ?

We billed 10 hours at $80 per hour = $800

Almost any wetsanding for a typical car is going to be above 10 hours. This one saved us time by wetsanding since it was so bad off to begin with. But we did not sand the roof (too thin to sand - the benefit of measuring paint BEFORE taking abrasives to your paint), and didn't touch the wheels, jambs, or interior.

I hope this car's value increased more than the cost of having us work on it :)

Awesome Jobs guys, I need some info I will definitely like to pass the word onto our customers. Let me know!

Sure thing, PM me what you need. Thanks!

Wow! Awesome work. I am amazed at your attention to detail and the specifics you guys get into when detailing. That car came out looking great!

I saw the pics yesterday and I cannot believe how good you got that paint! I know who is going to refresh the SSS when the time comes.

how much would something like that cost!!??

Depends on time it takes. We have a flat rate of $80/hr and work with the client's budget to provide the most for the money. A long project like this is very time consuming (think a little over 10 hours on this car alone), but compared to a quality repaint - the car looks just as good at a small fraction of the price (not to mention it took one day instead on the car being gone for multiple weeks + having to let the new paint cure).

you guys never cease to amaze me. Cant wait for my blue car to get the white glove from you guys. Race season has destroyed the pocket book, I'll be in touch.

Thanks a lot Shaun! No worries man, there's truly no need to EVER apologize for using your car for what you bought it for. When you or anyone needs our services, we'll be there. In the mean time keep racing :)

Holy shit! that GN looks beutiful I'm 99% sure I was parked near it Wed. I have to get you guys to give a once over to my Camaro. PM me what you would charge to clean up a daily driver.
