1986 Porsche 944, black/5spd - $2000 this week, keeping it after

Alright, within a week's time this will either be sold or relocated and will be pending tear down. If it sells, cool... if it doesn't, I'm throwing a fucking LS v8 in it. Save it from it's haggard track slut future! I will keep this up until 12/27, then it gets locked. Jump on this deal, you won't find another in this shape for anywhere near this price.

Car has been on craigslist for awhile, figured I would throw it up here. Originally, I had planned on throwing an LS series motor in the car for track days (have the schematics for adapter plates and everything), just trying to get stuff out of the way. Was previously owned by someone else on Motown.

The car has been sitting since summer of 2009, I simply haven't gotten around to tinkering with it after purchase. In 2009, the AC was all replaced and worked great, clutch and slave had been replaced recently, and had the new engine broken in. There is a receipt for a new Engine, clutch, AC compressor, belts, clutch slave, gasket set, r134 conversion, fly wheel speed sensor, and battery total of recipt is $5,500 and was performed on 5/1/2008 but I may or may not be able to find it. The brakes could still stand to be replaced. I have pads and rotors for the front that will come with the car.

Tires are in great shape and the seats are not ripped.

Issues:
Front bumper has seen better days but it's still there and works
Some paint chips and a couple dings here and there, body is still plenty solid
Weather stripping on the rear hatch is gone
Hinge on the center console is bad, dash is cracked a bit, a couple interior pieces are missing

Recently, the gas tank sprung a leak but it's probably just a seal because the tank itself is plastic ($100 at a junkyard in any case). I just don't have the time to tear into the car so it's up for sale.

With the tank leak fixed and a quick battery jump, this thing would be ready to go with the little odds and ends left for days when you feel like being productive.

Given the recent engine and maintenance, this is a steal for 3200 with just a few minor issues. Nevertheless, 3200 OBO and I am looking to sell quickly.

It's a Conquest, same diff. That's an 86 with unrecoverable floors, I just sold my DD 88 Conquest SHP this year. That 86 went to the scrapper and an 84 Ford LTD is in it's place, currently.

bump for what appears to be a good deal. I dunno WTF I'm even looking at this thread.

How many miles on the chassis, new engine, etc? Does it run and drive, as is? Or, with the leaking tank, would it need to be towed?

133k on the car, engine was replaced in 2008 and driven less than a year so I'd assume <15k but who knows. It can be started, I drove it around the block when I got it. Needs a battery and the tank fixed, leaks out of the bottom.
