1986 dodge omni glht turbo project 2800.00 firm
just to not mislead anyone these pictures are from when I BOUGHT THEN ENGINE from previous owner, my car is a roller right now engine and transmission is out along with most of the interior.
1986 omni glh t project car was getting it ready to to be my street car all the heat /ac has been taken off. car has front kyb coil overs, rear are konis with coil overs, has the shelby charger front and rear seats
omni does need floor patch panels . I was in the process of doing that and lost interest in finishing it. I have to many projects and not enough time
car does have salvage title from front fender bender passanger side.
I priced it for the drivetrain and your getting a free car with it. finish the car,
put the drivetrain in something else. whatever you wish .
ENGINE Short Block:
87 Dodge 2.2 Turbo Block
.010 over Venolia Pistons from FWD Performance.
Recon TII rods with ARP hardware
All machining done at Automotive Machine in Fraser, Mi (full shortblock service)
HD bearings
HV Oil Pump
Crank scraper and windage tray fabricated by engine builder
ENGINE Head:
The cylinder head is originally from an 88 lancer shelby
Race ported head
5 angle valve job with bigger valves
Turbos Unleashed Camshaft (super60)
Upgraded Mitsu Lifters (shimmed)
Adjustable cam gear
LS2 vette valve springs with custom retainers and locks
- QC Coatings wrinkle black powdercoat
ENGINE Exterior:
TII ported lower intake with Pope sheet metal box upper intake
Ported van throttlebody (56mm)
Ported TII exhaust manifold
Turbonetics Super 60 Turbo
Turbos Unleashed 3" swingvalve
ENGINE Management:
Megasquirt SEFI 3rd generation I believe - will come with street tune for 93 octane and meth
Ford EDIS 4 ignition system from 3rd generation Escort. Distributor has been deleted. sensor and pickup machined to harmonic balancer.
+40 injectors
Aftermarket rail and regulator from FWD Performance
TRANSMISSION:
568 Trans in great condition (came to us as claimed to have been rebuilt but can not guarantee looks and acts the part though)
Turbos Unleashed 6 Puck sprung clutch.
