1985 mustang svo 2.3 turbo low miles

Give em hell trunk...If the Interior looked 1/2 as good as the paint that would be a $7500 car ! The SVO was only In production for 3 years and the notch/coupe was in production for 15 years. If the convertable was the lightest mustang and not the notch everyone would want verts.

For sure!! Spending some money with 5.0 resto would be well worth it before selling it. The interior being that hit seems kinda suspicious.

I have to state that I've looked at and owned a ton of fox mustangs over the years and the seat, steering wheel, and shifter knob wear that is shown in the pictures is definitely not consistent with that of a 52k original mile car, as the post reads. Not saying this to ruin your sale, but this is a car club forum and I'd hate to see someone get ripped off.

DING DING DING i said the samething but i deleted it right before i posted it...

Absolutely! Unfortunately most people that are spending that kind of money want a car that is done. Why paint it but not spend a few more dollars and call it done then it'll sell.
What does It matter...$500 In parts from 5.0 RESTO and posting It On the right forum and that Is a $7500 car.

you guys can say what you want but too bad this car has been in the family and I know it only has those miles on it sorry just turned 53,000 miles the car sat alot and not in a garage. I could put the money into the interior but I just dont care about doing it and figured wow price it a little lower so someone can do it and get a fair price. You can knock and call bullshit all you want untill you come look at it and drive it then be quit. I just asked if it was too high not to say im a liar and full of shit so if thats what you thnk keep your opinions and 2 cents to yourself. Im the most honest and straight guy to deal with and easy going. Maybe I will just ebay it then I wouldnt deal with people saying im a liar and its hard to believe. But when cars sit outside all there life what do you expect them too look like a damn gem and perfect come on now.

I like the car and wish you the best of luck with the sale !

I've put literally half a million or more miles on FOX mustangs in the past 22 years. From 79 models to 93 models. They are tanks. If you take 1 with 56k miles on it and park it next to one with 156k miles on it, and park another one with 256k miles on it next to them, do you know how to tell the difference? The wear on the seat, shifter, and steering wheel. Sorry, but that is not a 56k mile car IMO and I only posted it because I'd hate to see someone get ripped off thinking they were buying a 56k mile car.

Like I said you all can say what you want i dont care dont buy it. Im not trying to rip anyone off im sure my family wouldnt lie to me and the original owner was a family member so whatever. Drive your mustangs all you want and park whatever ones you want next to each other thats fine by me. I like how this site turns from one thing to another when someone just ask's a simple question I should of known better but thats fine i asked so i will deal with it. I know what the car is and what miles it has and doesnt have. Maybe I will just put interior into it and sell it someone will get one nice car with true miles

Whats the vin# ?

the money parts on that car make it worth the money. and the most of the money parts on this car are in terrible shape.

steering wheel=wasted
seat= wasted
shifter knob= wasted
dash pad= wasted
door mouldings = missing
marker lights= look ok
bi-wing= sagging, but not too bad
spats= look good
wheels= look good

there is NO WAY that is the original hurst shifter, WAY too tall.

i had a 84, and every "money" part was MINT. 60k miles. got backed into in a parking lot, caving in the area below the fuel door. was forsale forever, sold it for $1800.

lol .......b.s..........205hp and 15.9 in the quarter .........don`t turn people on

Most SVO collectors dont care about a 15.9 In the quarter....Its all about the the simple fact that Is It's a 3 year limited production run collector car. End of story ! If Its not your kinda car dont rip on the guy and tell him his car Isnt worth shit.

dash pad is like $150, I have the door moldings just found the last one in my brother in laws garage so just need to paint them. as for the shifter not being original then man im a fool and so is my buddy that is a svo freak judge my pictures more and say what you want. You guys all act like damn women on here. As for the car not being fast in the 1/4 your right but people dont want these cars to go 10sec. in a 1/4 mile they are rare and collectors. Theres the vin dont know why you want that but look it up you will see its a 1985.5 and a true svo but im done with this bashing going on didnt know it was that big of a deal for a guy to sell a nice true car that needed some interior work. And im sure half of you that are talking crap dont have the money anyway so whats it matter kep your 2 cents to yourself and move on to the next post or guy to bash even though you only look at pictures you know all but forgot you know all about mustangs

if you got a few interior pieces from latemodelresto IE: OEM seat recovering kit, carpet, and dash pad and gave the interior a good cleaning Id say 6ish is obtainable

WoW...I'm pretty surprised at everyone jumping down his throat...I know Jeff personally....Have known him for years...And he's a pretty trust worthy guy....no reason for him to lie...i've seen the car and it's pretty damn clean except for the interior obviously.....I personally say if you arent interested in the car stay out of his post....BTW jeff it's PJ
