Back in Feb 2011 the car was for sale in Indiana and I talked to the owner for about a hour and he said it had been to the track once and ran high 11's. Same Engine, trans ect ect...

I would hate for someone to buy this car thinking it runs 10.40's on motor. :doh:

These are totally unverified numbers from the previous owner. I haven't the time nor the weather to take it to the track myself.

I'm also not asking verified 10.4 second prices; it's a lot of car (and potential) for $7,500.
 
Not trying to hi jack your thread man, but you've got to know those numbers and times for fact so you dont make yourself look bad in the end. Shit before i bought my car it went 11.01 on motor and had a 306 with a good lower end. Come to findout it goes 12.20 on motor and had a 100% stock lower end with some dremel cut 4.00 bore trw's.

No sweat - I appreciate the feedback. This is a lot of car for the money regardless of numbers -- I've seen clean, dipped, caged shells for $2,500+ and this includes all the proper driveline, motor, all good. I'm selling the car with no guarantees of performance but merely that it's a good solid starting point.
