iirc pre 1990 wranglers had a 45 degree rear roll bar like in the picture versus the one that exists on the new jeeps which contours the soft top lines so my guess is the body is updated

It is a 1983 but it has a new all steel body very nice jeep for the money will trade for a offshore boat,or muscle car
