Picked up an 1969 Nova from my buddy Travis. This was his car in high school and has been sitting in his garage for the passed 9 years. It had a 4 bolt 350 and TH350 before.

first time out of the garage since circa 04'

L92 got her stripped down with all the truck stuff off. time for a thorough cleaning of the block, removal of the heads, and LS3 conversion. going with a prosystems carb and 6LS box. cam is coming from LG motorsports.

Cool project..Any power adders ?..Which intake manifold ?..now i have someone to call out this spring......i`m also doing a LS with a carb but i`m doing the front mount distributor....I`m putting it in a Mustang......i will update my project thread soon....

Im honestly going with the G6X3 cam from LG motorsports. this wont see much grudge time haha.

going with the edelbrock vic jr intake. and cleaning up the stock L92 heads when I disassemble them.

I would love to make 500 +/- on motor.

Sounds nice......Remember Kelly at Lafontaine Performance is a sponsor here and real good with LS motors he worked at Wheel to Wheel and Thomsons engines.... He is also a dealer for Comp cams........he helped me pick out my Carbed LS7 cam and now he is helping me with my LS3 carb cam.......I think he said its only a extra $15 to have a custom cam ground......He also hooked me up with a bunch of new GM LS parts......

Awesome car. I've always liked the 68-72 Novas. Adding LSx power is the icing on the cake.

Keep us posted on the progress.

oh, I also worked/still work with from time to time, a former sponsor/engine builder on here. LSx is my bread and butter. the G6X3 is not perfect given the carb, but I like what it should do on the gas later on.

I will keep you guys posted. ordering the LS3 conversion today, and intake.

MSD 6012, canton x body swap pan, and vic jr are here.

canton pan doesn't seem to be fitting with the oem windage tray, the rear to main studs seem to be hitting the back of the pan

I removed one of the heads last night and inspected the cylinder, they look great and show little signs of wear. though it does have low miles it looks as though the previous owner slacked on oil changes.

now taking them to my buddy TC's shop for inspection and some clean up work on the ports.
