Posting this for a good friend of mine. Hes looking to downsize his little fleet of cars and this one must go. He's asking $8500 NEW PRICE $5000 with all the extra parts that he has included.

We drove the car from here to Kansas City, MO to pick up my bmw last August. It made it there and back without one problem all with ice cold AC the entire time. The car is as reliable as something newer IMO.

The car is not perfect! It needs a little paint work, chrome trim pieces are starting to pit, etc. I know he does have a bunch of extra parts that will go with the car for the right price. Brand new brakes, headlight door actuators (ones installed now are slow, but still work), interior/Exterior trim pieces, weather stripping, and others that I cant remember.

The PO was an engineer at Visteon IIRC and he installed the AC system, e-fans, and some other things.

From what I know off the top of my head

New gas tank
Rebuilt original to the car radiator
new sequential tail light module
custom catback
302
T5
MGW shifter
Pioneer Radio and speakers

From the previous owner. There are pictures from him too.

Turn key 1968 Standard vinyl hardtop, original 302/auto car, for sale.
Too much work done to it in the last few years to list here.
Non original motor and transmission. Motor is out of a 92 or 93 Mustang, but it IS a roller cam engine with relatively low miles (good cylinder crosshatch visible from oil pan), MSD 6AL ignition with new Ford distributor, transmission is a T5 out of a 95 Mustang, installed using a Mustang Steve cable kit, an FRPP clutch, and a MGW close ratio shifter. Custom built 134a a/c system works with up to date parts, and heater core was just installed this past summer.
The car has power brakes (disc/drum), and the steering was converted to manual from a very leaky power setup with a professionally rebuild steering box. Steering is tight, and all front suspension components have been changed with the exception of the front springs.

Photos were taken Oct 2011, car was driven a handful of times this past summer.
Everything seen in the pictures will be included with the exception of the front seats with are on loan from a friend. I do have the original front seats which have been reinstalled.

This car is a running, driveable, mechanically sound ride for anyone looking for a cruiser and a good candidate for a complete resto as well.

Once again, I have done quite a bit mechanically to it, undoing all that the previous owner did to the car to make it not only safe but fun to drive. Please email with questions, I will tell you anything about the car including work that has been done as well as work that still remains.

You can PM me and I can give you my friends number if interested.

The pics below were taken today.

Thanks, the car is unique!

Forgot to mention the paint color is from the new Daytona Charger R/T models, I think its called Hemi Orange.

Wow. This car is still around. I had the car painted for my wife that color. Happy to see you are still enjoying it. New owner has done a lot. Top notch guy to deal with.

I dont own the car, my good friend does. Are you the previous owner my buddy bought it from about two years or so ago?

Still there and taking offers. My friend drives it here and there but is parking it within a couple days before we get hit with any snow.

I just talked to my buddy and he said he'd be willing to take $6500 as is with all the extra parts he has.

The car needs more body work since I originally posted the ad. Front and rear valance need to be replace and there is a dent in the passenger door. We were able to pop some of it out, but its not perfect. Keep that in mind with the lower price.

Really is a great deal for that price despite the work it needs. The new headlight actuators alone were $600.

Any horse trading?

For your Mark? Id have to talk to him again.
