1965 chevy chevelle

I have a 1965 chevy malibu ss with a small block. No power steering or a/c. It has a 4 speed trans. Who has something similar with headers? ( What headrs work with htis setup ) ?
 
I have a 64 Chevelle with 4 speed and have had a couple of them with and without headers. I can tell you that all of the headers will need a little 'modification'. Unless you have a high revving, high HP engine, go with 1-5/8 tubes.

I live in Troy, if you want to come by. The engine is out of the car, but I can tell and show you where the problem areas are on my set of headers.

Just to vouch for Gary since you're new here, this isn't his first rodeo and I'd consider him an expert on the topic.
 
On my 65 / 396 i used stock SBC engine mounts, and 1 3/4 headers. I bought the headers used, and i can not remember the brand. The engine mounts made the difference.
