1955 Chevy straight axle gasser

Wow. Sweet car. I would love to build something like that. I have three more Mustangs to finish and then I am moving to something older. I bought a '68 Vette last week that I am going to do a quick face lift on but it really looks good enough to drive at least for a year or so (I posted a picture of it in the photo section, "what have you bought lately"). I really want to do an early 50's car. Maybe a 53 or 54 F100.

I would suggest like an emerald green with metal flake. Gassers from that era used colors like that usually with lots of metal flake. Also, the TV show, Fast & Loud did a gasser last season. Can't remember what it was but it might be worth checking out.

Mark, hav'nt had time to work on it lately, been working on the autorama bare steel truck, your uncle would be proud!! it might end a perfect tow truck for the gasser!!!!!! But i'll be setting up the motor and trans next..

damn! More pics... Glad to see you could use parts off of the truck
