1955 Chevy straight axle gasser

well after sitting for over 15 years i decided to build a straight axle gasser, i will drive it on the street as well as race it!!!! i teamed up with CARS Inc to use all there replcement sheet metal. plans call for a BBC/4L80 trans, slotted mags, color????

i cut out the entire floor pan and replaced the rusty cowl with a clean one. i set the new pans on the frame, then set the shell back on. i am not going to cut the front frame off untill i get the body back together.

i got the mini tubs in and new rocker panels, also instsalling the new full quarter panels.

Funny, just watched 2-Lane Blacktop on Sat. Forgot how terrible of a movie that is. Are you going to radius the rear wheel openings, or leave it as is?
