THIS IS HUGE! THE TRUCK IS GOING BACK HOME TO ROSCOMMON FIRE DEPARTMENT! Whoever put us in contact with Roscommon fire thank you! It it going BACK HOME!!! I have another reply on page 2 of this thread. I'd like to know who the link was, and I wanna say thank you. Old cool fire truck. Needs restoration but pretty complete and solid. Even has hoses and stuff. It would Be super cool at the car shows and cruises. Price is slightly negotiable. Ps, it did run, but something is up with the ignition now. It's a friend of mines dads truck, just spreading the word for him.

My dad used to own a fire truck of this style, and it was quite a hit with everyone. I should astonish my wife and get one too, keep his legacy of lunacy living on...GLWS!
 
I don't think it was owned by anybody other than Roscommon and him. Price has dropped though, he's down to $1500 on it. Wants it gone by winter. Really surprised it's still here actually.

That's what I said about 13-14 years ago. How many old Roscommon fire trucks are floating around Romulus? I'm 99% sure this is the same truck. I was trying to talk them into making it a ramp truck back then.

Motown, who ever put us in contact with Roscommon fire department, we'd like to say thank you! The truck is headed back home to houghton lake for a full restoration by the fire department themselves. They still have pictures of this truck at the station, and me being the sentimental type, can not be more excited that the right guys found THEIR truck!!!!!! So I wanted to personally say thank you Mowtown, this was huge!
