I may be wrong but I think the trailer was recovered. Looked like it was a lil smashed up, hopefully they caught the rat bastards that stole it, I wonder if they found the car too.
we got the trailer back on wednesday night. someone called the store and gave us the general area down by the ambassador bridge where the trailer was parked. I was ready to roll down there and my friend a macomb county officer talked me into waiting till they could get there. The Macomb county task force recovered the trailer but no car in it. I sent my driver to get it yesterday morning from the tow yard. It's pretty beat up but better than a kick in the nuts! I had a feeling the car was still out there in someone's garage. New Baltimore PD went down to the area and knocked on doors all day yesterday. I received a phone call from a white guy talking a mile a minute about the car and how he had won it in a street race on saturday night. He basically wanted to give it back but was worried about going to jail. I promised no police and we rolled down to the same area as the trailer was recovered the day before. A little sketchy but we got it.
I'd like to find the guy in the gas station picture and am offering a 500.00 reward for his information......he owes me some money for damages.
Just likw to say thanks to New Baltimore, Macomb County, and the Detroit Police along with the news stations and the members on FaceBook, Motown Muscle, TDR, Silver Lake Forum, Sand Drag Central and Yellow Bullet for all the support!! Thanks to my customers at the store and street racers that looked out for us. Let's find the 2 that stole it now. That Blue Superduty has to look familiar....the guy is about 300 lbs or so and his girl is skinny and appears to be a little rough.
