I am only 24 and i dont think I could date an 18 year old. I just dont have enough in common with them anymore. I know people will say "o but she is really mature" but shes not. I would screw one but thats it nowadays.

Tell your “buddy” to find a girl his own age.

It’s cool for the girl to have an older guy; she’ll feel special that an older guy likes her. But soon after graduating high school she’ll realize he’s just a loser that no college girl would date, and dump him.
 
Ummmm, I cant say anything. I was 22 banging a 16 yr old. Her parents knew knew me and how old I was and still allowed her to stay the night but then again she just told them we were watching movies & fell asleep on the couch. :demon:

An old co-worker of mine had sex with another co-worker who was 16. Her parents found out, and they were ready to take him to court for statutory rape...I'm not sure why they decided against it in the end...the daughter probably convinced them that she wanted to or something. Still, though, if they would have taken him to court he probably still would have gotten convicted. He was 20 at the time, I believe...

This is something your friend needs to take into consideration. Friend of mine was dating a guy who jut got out of prison due to a situation like this. He dated a girl who was 17 while he was in college. They had sex blah blah blah. She fell hard for him and when he broke it off they were ok for a while. a few years later, she comes back and claims he raped her. He lost and went to prison, is registered on the sex offender list, the whole 9 yards. His life is screwed because he couldn't hold it till she was 18.
 
I always go with the -1/+5 rule. One year younger or 5 years older are the ones I date. Current girlfriend is 1 year younger.

i thought a good rule is 1/2 your age + 7. unless she's either really hot, flexible, or kinky.

my wife is 7 years younger than me.
