10 second 08 GT build up (lots of pics)

True the cast crank will take all the abuse we are going to throw at it...(600-650hp) If the car was a stick shift car that made that kinda power we wouldn't think twice about putting a steal crank in it or if we were expecting to make big power we would have gone with a steal piece as well....

I understand the thinking, but I was just thinking "Do it right once or do it again"
 
Trust me the crank shaft will not be a problem....
Doesn't the Accufab mod motored car run a stock crank too? Along with block/heads...obviously heavily modified but still stock at one point. John Mihovich or however it's spelt.
 
Yes a stock forged piece and a stock block...oh and stock (ported) heads (not that they make aftermarket 4v heads anyways!)

the car make 535ish through the automatic, i will post the graph soon... we still have yet to bump the boost up to 20psi.. I will make a video when we strap the car down again this wednesday...
