I dont need a vette I have a full head of hair and a penis

Some of us own them because they are kick-butt performance cars that also are comfortable and somewhat sophisticated to boot. By far the best overall performance car I've ever owned, and I've owned quite a few.

No, I don't know what a Sintray is.:dontknow:

I don't think the name has been selected yet. I hope it isn't called Stingray though.

ugh

stingray is the rumored name, nothing official

MTI has z07 trademarked so I seriously doubt it will be called that.

I don't think GM is dumb enough to call it an SS but you never know.

Uhm. Pictures have been posted somewhere, let me dig em up... I've also heard of them considering calling it the Z07... And it will be in the 90k+ price range..

"If the thought of the new 500-hp Ford Shelby GT500 Mustang hedging in on the 505-hp Corvette Z06's territory raises your blood pressure, don't despair: Corvette chief engineer Tom Wallace has a 650-hp trick up his sleeve. A new super Corvette will build on the Z06's 7.0-liter LS7 V-8 that was developed in sync with the Corvette C6.R Le Mans racer. For this limited-production Vette, which might be called the Z07, Chevy will increase the LS7's displacement and bolt on a supercharger to bump output by 145 hp. The Z07, due in 2008, will be further differentiated from the Z06 by the use of more carbon-fiber body panels and a huge hood vent aimed at killing front-end lift. In true Corvette style, Chevy will undercut competitors by pricing the Z07 at about $100,000. This Corvette has been known within GM as the Blue Devil, after the mascot of GM CEO Rick Wagoner's alma mater, Duke, and also as the Sting Ray, but we think they'll go with Z07, or maybe Z06.R."

They cant call it the zo7 that is copy writed by a corvette tuner...........(I think its MTI or Doug Rippie cant remember which)

Intrim 08 introduction, 6.2L Supercharged LS9 which I believe has a current cap at 650 after dyno cell testing. You guys are all worried about the vette, I'd be worried about the more affordable 6.2L supercharged motors powering other things ;)

Heheh well the SS will be well over $100K I was thinking more along the lines of the CTS-V with the LSA and the possibility of the Camaro getting the LSA as well :)
