06 Trailblazer coolant smell in cabin help

As it states. My parents have an 06 I6 Trailblazer. Started smelling coolant in the cabin the other day. Are these common to a certain issue that can easily be resolved, or??? Heater Core...

Check where the hoses connect to the core, if one is seaping, it can soak the foam seal, and you will get the smell, with no other signs
