06-09 land rovers?

I was looking for something cheap to drive this winter and came across some land rovers some supercharged, others not.
Are these dependable? I've seen them with under 100k miles from $6-$10k.

Is there any known engine/transmission/drivetrain issues?

any major maintenance issues, timing belt, etc.. that frequently go bad on these?

Reviews I've seen always ranked one of the most repair costs and frequencies down the road.

You'd likely spend the purchase cost of that used rover in repairs in the first year or two based on my experience with them.

She got a 2019 Cherokee limited. (slightly more than I really wanted to pay, but happy wife, happy life...)

Wife's 08 LR2 (Ford Escape) has been pretty good to her. Besides tires and battery it's only needed a DMTL? pump for the emissions I bought off Ebay for $70. She wants a newer Range Rover unchball
