05 GTO or 03/04 Terminator?

Cobra for sure. GTO has a much nicer interior, but the Cobra is a boatload of fun to haul ass in(great seats!), is underated in the twisties, and is about 10,203,823,2349 times better looking. I really like the GTO in terms of the inside and the platform, but even the new models with the hoodscoops look ridiculous. It's like pencilling in angry eyebrows on an old lady to make her look mean.

Yeah why not keep a car that looks like 90% of the Ponticrack line up. I rather have a bellybutton car then a car that can be confused with a GRAND AM :pow:

I like sleepers. I was seriously looking at an 05 GTO earlier this year with the intention of slapping on the APS twin turbo kit. To each his own.

Magnacharge the GTO, or hell get an ATI/Vortech. 500 at the tires is very very common. Or stick one of those new LSx blocks with 500 cubic inches :D

hmmm, stock for stock the GTO is right behind the cobra (the LS2 GTOs).

I think the GTO is very appealing on the eyes. Sleek, yes classy.

I have NEVER confused a GTO with a cavi, grand am, grand prix or anything like that.

most grand prixs can beat a GTO stock/modded :) so you might have hahaha :badass:

For a true daily driver, GTO. For a second car, or intended sports car, Cobra.
 
the GTO interior is nice. and if you want a sleeper, the GTO is the way to go! but... the terminator is a much better platform to go silly fast on. and it's resale value is substantially better than that of the GTO.
 
i never got a email showing a reply for this thread.....that sucks. anywhoo, i have 2 guys who want to come look at it, although its at the dealer. a magnacharger was an idea, but kills the warranty. and with so much of the warranty left and the ls2 has oil problems ( not mine yet ) thats why i was looking for a car at the end of its warranty.
the gto is a really nice car,is fast, eventhough others on here who have prolly never ridden in one will tell you differently, its not a raw power like the cobra. and it will only be a summer car, bought a 04 maruader for most of the year and have an explorer. a buddy let me take his 01 blown Saleen for a few days. little more cramped, a few steps down in quality interior wise.

Im saying a stock GTO loses to a modded GTP. If you spend about $1000.00 bucks on a grandprix gtp you will go about 13.0-13.2 most stock gtos that IVE SEEN are running 13.5+ and even with a the fasest I seen a LS1 go is 12.7 with other supporting mods.

I know 9/10 the gto will beat the average GTP/GT but not in my world :)
