2003 Silverado 4x4 Z71 $5,500

I bought this truck a few months ago off a friend, I got a good deal because it needed some minor work. I fixed the small problems and am ready to re-sell. I currently have 4 vehicles and just don't need that many! So the truck is going first.

The Good
-5.3 liter V8 with 154,000 miles
-Ice cold A/C and great heat
-Four wheel drive works perfect
-Made to fit rubber floor mats front and back
-Has a trailer brake controller
-Truck runs and drives very smooth
-Transmission shifts perfect
-Rear defrost
-Extended cab with opening rear doors

Parts I Replaced
-High pressure Power steering line
-Blower motor resister
-Throttle body
-Throttle pedal/sensor
-Tailgate hinges
-Tailgate handle plastic
-Gas cap
-Previous owner just did complete front brakes, including calipers, have receipts

The Bad
-Speedometer not working (very common problem, motor in the gauges is bad usually $60 for a rebuild)
-Brakes can be a tad spongy (front brakes were just done, maybe needing rears soon?)
-ABS light comes on sometimes
-check engine light is on, but only for an Evap Emissions code (could use a new canister vent valve, $40)
-Normal Michigan rust on the rockers, cab corners, and rear bumper. All of the rust can be seen in the pictures.

The throttle body and gas pedal were replaced because before I bought the truck it was going into reduced power mode, the code that was popping up was related to the TPS sensor. So after a bit of research I found the throttle body, tps sensor, and bad engine grounds to be the main causes of the problem. So I replaced the pedal, bought a used but working throttle body, and added extra engine grounds. I'm very confident the problem is fixed. The truck went into reduced power mode during my test drive, then again on the 4 miles drive home. I replaced those parts the very next day and it hasn't happened once since and I've put at least 1,000 miles on the truck, I've driven it every single day since I've bought it.

I'm asking $5,500 and the truck is worth every penny, it books for over $8,000 still. Please don't bother offering me any trades, I have four vehicles already and am selling to downsize. Please don't waste your time sending me any low ball offers, I will not take any less. I like the truck and I'll just keep it if i don't get what I'm asking.

If the truck doesn't sell quick I will fix the remaining small problems, but then the price will be going up quite a bit!

Best way to get ahold of me is by text, I'm a busy person! I would be more than happy to let you come and check the truck out, I'm confident the first person to test drive it will buy it!

Um no? Simply stating the truck had the average amount of rust for a truck it's age in Michigan.

does saying (normal michigan rust) make the rust being there ok?

For these trucks it makes it the typical Michigan Silverado that's been driven in the winter. The majority in this age range have rusted cab corners and rockers. My 04 crew cab has 100K on it and the rockers are shot.
