03 GMC Sierra water pump

My truck has been losing coolant slowly, couldn't see any drips but it is. Anyway, yesterday I'm at my buddys shop and threw it up on the lift and the area betweent he block and waterpump is wet as well as everything below it. Can't see any wet above the pump so I'm assuming something is leaking there. I've never taken one of these motors apart so I'm wondering how big of a pain in the ass it will be to either reseal the pump or replace it will be. Anything special I need to know about for this fix?

Thanks in advance for any advice.

You could prolly do it in your sleep, once the fan and shroud are off you'll see what I mean. Replace the pump, they fail often.

Yup just replace the thing, I can almost guarantee its the pump I did mine this summer while I was replacing the AC Compressor.

Say how much of a what lift kit do you have on your truck, what size wheel and tire it looks good

thats actually my old truck.. just havent gotten around to taking a good pic of the new truck to change my sig.. that didnt have a lift at all.. just cranked the torsion bars, has 20x10 wheels with a 33/12.5/20 tire on it.

I thought cranking the torsion bars up like that would result in a hard ride, did it?
