'03 CTS - Check Coolant message keeps coming on?

This is for the g/f's car, but I'm trying to find out some info since I'm a Caddy noob. The Coolant Check message on the DIC keeps coming on, and we've checked it several times and the coolant level is where it should be. She recently had the system flushed, and the error went away, but came back again today.

I did some searching on the Cadillac forums and didn't really find too much info. Hoping someone on here might know if it's a sending unit, TSB, etc. that we can check and go from here.

theres is always a coolant level sensor on the rad or the fill tank. could be the sensor is bad. its pretty common.

Good to know. I'll find out how much one of those is and see about changing that.

That was a Delco part at Advance. Just wanted to make sure I was in the ballpark.

Sounds right to me too......IF this does not work maybe the T stat???

that is more than likely it, id try cleaning the probe ends first with oven cleaner. Let it sit for a few to break up the deposits then scrub it clean.
