:icon_wink anyone have a hook up on a divorce laywer, lmao!<i may need one

LMAO..you were just tellling about this bike and how you were going to keep it..bump for a bad ass bike!

:hmm: What are you doing now Dan? Last time I talked to you, you had big plans for this bike. Good luck on the sale.

The insurance company stiffed me.........I had it added to my mom & dads insurance policy (Frankenmuth) with me as the operator for full-coverage @ $1152 for the YEAR and everything was cool. I got the loan, left to pick up the bike, and literally when I got home there was a message on the answering machine saying that they (Frankenmuth)won't insure it because it's a "high performance motorcycle capable of going 189 MPH" ........and now because I have a loan on it I have to have full-coverage and the cheapest elsewhere I could find was $2267 per year !!! PLPD is only $276 per year but I'm about $1500 short of paying it off so I can't even do that.

BTW, can they do that........insure something, and then "un-insure" it. I even got a proof of insurance in the mail two days after all of this happened ! What the FRIG !!!!!

bump for a super clean bike and a great guy to deal with. I saw this bike in person a couple days ago, and man, its very clean, looks like it just rolled off the showroom floor, should sell quick.

Did you try state farm by any chance?

Yes I did.... They won't insure it unless I have my vehicle through them too, and I'm not doing that because I have crazy cheap insurance on my truck through my mom & dads policy.

Ouch.I used Witliff agency right here in Port Huron when I had mine.It was pretty cheap. If your not driving it (wich I doubt you are right now) you can put storage and comprehensive on it with it still having a laon.It will have fire, theft, vandalism ect..but no collision.Should save you some coin till it sells.

"Storage" is what's on it right now and it's still expensive. They won't insure without liability, and that's the kicker........gay

Dont worry the summer is going to be great ;) This is a good decision.

 It better be ! hahaha

Try a different State Farm Agent. There is ton in the phone book. I have had several sport bikes insured with them and I don't own a vehicle (company car not in my name). The only thing I have insured with them is my R1. I pay about $400 year for full coverage.

Go on gixxer.com there is probably a ton on posts about insurance. I know on the r1-forum there is a lot on this subject. Overall consensus is that State Farm is the cheapest
