01 Cavalier Headlight Issue

My lady's cav's lo-beam headlights and DRLs don't work but her high beams do. I just changed the switch and it's the same issue. I have the wiring diagram in .pdf if anyone wants to look at it. I can't see what could be the issue aside from the switch seeing that the hi beams work.
 
inspect the wires at the connector under the battery, seen corroded wires there a few times

you need to see if you have everything you are supposed to at the DRL relay as well, it has to be in place for DRLs and low beams

I can hear the relay click when it tries to turn on the DRLs. They flash a few time when she puts the car in gear but don't stay on. The relay could bad but would the Hi-Beams still work?

I'll check that later today. What connector is under the battery that I should be looking at? I'll test the inputs at the relay as well.

there should be a 20 or so pin connector under there, not every car has it, but I am pretty sure the cavi's do
 
ok, looking at the diagram, unplug the headlight switch and test for power at the dark blue wire, terminal "c", if the rest of the wiring is good, it will have voltage there, a test light will glow dim, but a meter will show battery voltage
