  • Looking for performance parts? Give me a chance to beat the big guys. I have an extensive list of suppliers through multiple warehouses with loads of in stock parts. PM me with what you're looking for, and make sure to keep checking the site as more products are added (this takes a LONG time, and I can get alot more than what is listed)

I have the 95 gt with.the motor issue, u asked.if.I turn the.key off and then back on, the problem goes away for awhile then comes back, what do u think.it is
Cool man! Thanks, and no problem. I'm not 100% sure if the car will be my daily come summer this year. If I can manage to finish this engine up and do everything I want it's going to be severely limited to the track. We'll see though.
Thanks for all the info i'll check it all out, and I liked your facebook page. I dont get to the track much, twice a year about, I might have seen your car there before but never put a face with a screen name lol. I'll have to keep more of an eye out if i see you around at the track or anywhere. I also work in saginaw and live in bridgeport so if i see your car cruisin around i'll be sure to get your attention.
Thanks! It made 329/353 in street trim, but again, not typical. My dyno guy was blown away the 1st time I used him when it made over 300 since his buddy has TFS headed 306 that doesn't make my #'s. I get about 2hrs daily to datalog and tweak the tune in the summer. I also make a "few" passes down the 1/4. Usually I have the car on the dyno a few times in the summer to verify changes. Scott is in Okemos, MI. This is a blog he wrote on my quest for the 11's on his website; http://www.buyracingparts.com/blog/2012/09/24/chris-lees-stock-shortblock-302-mustang/
I live outside outside Elsie but work up in Saginaw. We must go to Stanton on alternating days or just don't know who were looking for to have never seen each other out there. I've been going out there since '05, back when the car was yellow.
Hey man your inbox is full. but it Sounds like you got it dialed in perfect. what did it make on the dyno for power? I've been out of the pushrod game for a while now and cant remember what cammed gt40 setups usually make. Is this scotty brown guy somewhat local? Also where about are you from? I go to mmm every now and then in the summer and see you're from mid michigan, I'm from the saginaw area.
New best time of [email protected] at Mid Michigan Motorplex over the Labor Day weekend. Not the greatest air coming in around 2800 DA so I know it's got 11s in it. Over the winter I went to BBK long tubes, 4.30 gears that were sent to Micro Blue, Micro Blue bearings throughout the rear end, aluminum flywheel, new clutch, 03-04 GT Maf, BBK X-pipe, got rid of the junk flowmasters for some actual breathing Dynomax muffs, and stuck a Scotty Brown custom cam in.
So what is it? It's really a very basic set up that has been dialed in over many years to run like more than it is. Started out with a 97 Explorer Long Block with 95k miles, back in '06, add a AFM-B-21 cam, trick flow valve springs, retainers, pushrods, professional products upper/lower, tb, underdrive pulleys, e-fan, bbk 1515 shorties, 3.73 gears, z-code t-5, koni adjustables all the way around, converted to mass air with an a9l which I tune with a Moates Quarterhorse. Best so far is a 12.47@108 or a 12.48@110 out at Lapeer at 2750 density altitude.
